T/D Vega Mini Van

I had a lot of fun building this one. I made some further mods to make it more of my own custom. I used real wood for the bumpers, aluminum tube for the bumper supports and resin bolt heads. left off the side pipes and added dumps from the parts box, built my own exhaust, took a camaro spoiler, cut a section out of the center and made wings for the roof, the wheels come from the monogram 66 malibu, i used flocking on the whole interior to include the flames. The flame decals on body came from Revell 48 ford Convertible. I wired, plumbed and detailed engine bay and interior.

I used aluminum pulleys, real rubber belt and photo-etched brackets




and a photo-etched flex fan




I used one coat laquer Mythical Maroon for the body






















I used sprint car breathers



The mufflers were made from very old electrical connectors i carried around for 15 yrs lol.

That is just excellent!! I have been looking at the other customs you posted. I enjoy them, but I haven't left comments for all, but they are great builds!!!!

I like these old Daniels' creations. I built many of them when they came out, but none ever came out that nice! Good job!
