That's what G T O stands for. This is the new Polar Lights 64 GTO snap kit so here is the run down on the parts
Box Art
White parts, body and int.
just the body
Blue engine parts which have either a 3/2 set up or a dual 4 set up
Black frame and chassis parts
Chrome parts
Chrome wheel's, tires and windshield
and the all important destruction sheet and decal's
I'm impressed with this for being a snap kit, very clean and a lot of parts, will find out about any fit issues and let YA know. Might go get a couple more just for the heck of it. Up date when I start on it, thanks for looking.

Well I started on this and I can say it is not a snap kit for a newbie, It has some fit issues that I found on just the engine so far. The block halfs go together just fine but pins for the oil pan and front don't line up at all so I removed them and glued them on the heads are a problem with the fit, the heads have two tabs coming down off of them and don't fit in the slots so I cut the back tab off and cut the front tab in half ( marked in red on picture ) then on the block the tab sticking up doesn't line up with the head ( marked in red on picture ) so I sanded them off also and found that the tail shaft on the tranny was up side down so I cut it off added a spacer for the blade with and turned it over. Put the other head on and the intake, with a little sanding on the sides it went on with just a little Push Dug out the frame and here is what it looked like and after spending some time with clean up here is what it looks like now Will up date when I get more done, thanks for looking.

Hi gang, well I got some more done so here we go Did a mock up to check the stance which was way off, checked the frame and int. tub for fit and found a gap in the fit removed the raised part ( marked in red ) looks much better now Mocked up again and the stance was still not close Found the problem was between the chassis and the int. tub on the tunnel so I removed the tunnel from the chassis and here is what the stance looks like now very close to what I want Got the engine done also got the int. painted tan but might go a little darker after I got the body painted yellow and see how it looks Here is the 1:1 I'm using for reference it has a black int. but I want to be different. Thanks for looking and comments are always welcome.

That is an awful lot of work for a snap kit! Robert, the only thing that is SNAP on this kit is your nerves and I only have one left.
Got the body ready for paint and it's yellow
Hood and grille insert
Sorry about the pictures, must have been the lighting, going to get the chassis and int. done and maybe finish this before the new year rolls around. Thanks for looking.

After the hard work, the engine and stance are looking great. Too bad this kit will not be a good one for the newcomers.

Was getting ready to BMF this and found 2 paint chips so I'm repairing those and will be back to the BMF stage which I'm not very good at yet but will be on this again shortly I hope.
