This is the reissue of the street freak Mustang that AMT did long time ago
here is the run down on the parts in the kit
the clear and blue tint glass
a real nice set of pad printed slicks
and the decals
They haven't changed this kit at all since it was first released, still have the sewer pipe frame and roll bar which gets changed.

Thanks Gene Got the engine almost done Set it the chassis for a fit check set the body on to see how she looked that's when I found out it was too far forward cause the hood doesn't go back to the firewall there isn't a lot of room to move it back because of the short tunnel it has but I'll figure some thing out. Thanks for looking.

It does look like the engine fit is a little off. Good looking start on the build. Your upgrades to the kit parts is impressive.

Well I got the engine moved back by sanding the under side of the tunnel and takeing some off the top of the tranny now it sits back and lower in the frame and the hood fit like it should they don't have any brakes in the kit so I dug into the parts box and found a set of rear disc brakes and installed them Going to try and get some more done today so will up date later. Forgot to tell you that the kit comes with plastic front tires but got changed with rubber ones the tire on the right is the set I used. Thanks for looking and for the good comments cause they help keep things going.

Made some progress on this build, got it painted Silver Pearl Metallic and the hood got the engine all done, with moving the eng. back the headers that come in the kit don't fit so went into the parts box and found these got the dash, seat and steering wheel done and ready to install I'm gaining on it, need to wait a couple of days for the paint to dry then do the decal's and final clear coat. Will up date when I get more done and thanks for looking.
