Ok, this isn't exactly a kit. I bought this Jada die cast 1/24 roll-off because it is the only affordable Navistar International Durastar in 1/24 or 1/25 scale. I am building a fleet of Navistar trucks.
In order to match my fleet, I am taking this one apart and totally rebuilding it. I washed it all down with acetone nail polish remover to get rid of any inks, oils or wax from the factory and it is now in primer.
My point in showing this one is that die cast can become kits for total rebuilds on subjects that are not available in plastic. I will post it in die cast when it is done.
This is how it looks out of the box:
(The 1954 Corvette is one of those cheap "promos". I like them to do as a simple update project. It may stay on the truck)
