Hi guys. I've been checking the site for a few weeks now...looks like a good start. I've been a member of several sites through the years starting with brians model cars until they closed. Then stumbled upon The Mad Modeller on proboards in 2011...loved it. Never knew what these forums were all about before then. Anyway, I dropped off from posting when we bought a home last year. Been working on it since we moved in, so I really haven't had time to build. Now it looks like Bobby may be shutting down and then I ran across your site...I'd like to jump in. Started building planes, cars, trucks, tanks, ships, everything I could in the late 60's through the mid 70's. Stopped for about 30 years...music...wives...my job for 23 years, then started back about 8 years ago. When I got back into it I was and am amazed at how far this hobby has advanced. Thanx guys, I'm ready to finish some builds!

Glad to have you along sir Like you I was out for many , many years and took a lot of catching up. Still not where I wish I was but it a great hobby to be a part of. Want a place were you dont have to be a pro to still enjoy things. Jump in anytime you feel comfortable. As time moves along hope others will find us but I dont try to pull guys out of other forms as a respect to other form owners. Again welcome and thanks for joining us.

Good to see you here! I believe this site will compliment others that are still going. It is great to participate in several forums that have different focuses.

I was over at TheMadModeler for quite a few years. Bobby is great and did a good job, but times change, I hope the best for him!
