Once upon a time, Rod & Custom magazine ran articles on model cars. Some of my favorites were the ones that featured a real hot rod, and showed how to build a 1/25 scale model of it. This series started with Joe Cruces' tall T coupe, which was obviously copied by Aurora for their 1/32 scale "T for Two" kit. I'm still working to fill in gaps in my collection- one of the ones I want the most is the issue that featured E.J. Potter's Chevy powered drag motorcycle in 1/8 scale. I started reviewing my collection, and scanning some of the articles to post in my Fotki account so others can enjoy them:
