This is what i have on my bench for a resto..... '60 Buick Invicta Convertible.....      Replacement parts....  The tear down....  After a bath....    I have some original wide white wall tires coming from Ebay, and still have to find some original wheel backs so i have a match set of 4. I will dig in my Buick parts kits to get what i need to finish the engine. Thank you for looking in. |

It got some primer to see what i still had to do to it, got some spot putty on it now to get it smoothed out and primer again.

That appears to be a pretty good start. I really like those old annuals even if they are simple and without the features that most of the newer kits offer. his one has an opening hood which is a nice feature - the SMP '59 Chev that I am working on right now doesn't have that. It will be interesting to see how your progress goes. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for the comments. It is still on the bench and making slow progress. i had some more putty work to do on the body, so some sanding and it should be ready for another coat of primer. Got all the other parts primered, breather is made, and am very close to having the engine done. I will post some updates in the next few days.

Got the body painted. had a mishap with the hood so it will get repainted. painted it Platinum Metallic.......  |
