This is what I got from evil-bay this week  58 T-bird hard top, need to attach the front bumper  58 T-bird conv. which I don't much care for the color so I might redo it later  and a 49 Ford Sedan Delivery in resin, not sure what I'll be doing with this one but the price was right.  the 62 T-bird parts car that came with the 2 58's  got a couple more coming in next week also, one of them is a 59 T-bird conv that needs restored for sure. |

Virgil, all 3 of them are not in bad shape they just need some TLC except the Pink conv. Got the 59 T-bird conv. in today and it's not as bad as I thought but does need a restore for sure, windshield frame is broke and the int tub is too low but it is a screw bottom so not much of a problem    I know I'll be removing the fender skirts and takin' it all apart with a bath to get rid of the decals. This is a curbside kit but I might fix that to when I get to doing this thunder chicken. Also got the older AMT Johnny Lightning 64 GTO and found out it's the same kit as the Polar Lights 64 GTO Snap Kit so that's why it has so many problems  and it does have the little 1/64th GTO with it. |

A really great score you got !! I have a few 58 T-bird's myself
just need to build some .
If you ever decide to part with that 49 Ford SD I would be interested in it , but if not that's OK .

Well today their was a Model ( plastic ) flee market here in Phoenix, have one about every 3 months and I went but this time I didn't come broke. Nope, had 5 bucks left and here is what I got AMT 65 Mustang fastback, no box but I'm going to build it any way  78 Ford Pinto Wagon, been looking for one for a long time at a good price and got it  and a 50 Ford Conv. which I forgot to take a picture of. And 2 1/16th scale, 57 Thunderbird  Shelby Cobra  One of the seller's I know has a 1/12 scale Revell 65 Mustang kit that he is holding for me till I get the money together for it ( not the first time he's done it either ) I think I had a good day. |

These are the last three purchases from my "Grail List". I've been trying to get the three of these for quite a few years, but always managed to come up a day late or a dollar short. Ironically, I came across each of these, at bargain prices, while looking for something else. The first is the AMT 40 Willy's/32 Ford Custom Tudor. I came across this with a couple minutes left on the auction- mint and complete, only the decals were bad Second was the AMT Spycar (A.K.A. The Man From U.N.C.L.E.). This was a current re-issue. I've never seen a complete, unbuilt kit on Ebay, at any price. A very welcome release! Third was the Lola T-70. I've wanted to get this and the Chaparral for years, despite their reputation for being difficult to build. IMC tooled the kits, then they were released by Union. This is a Union release that I happened upon, again, at the end of the auction, and was able to get it for about half what they normally sell for.    Tom |

Got two more in; 1963 Ford coupe  as you can see it's in need of repair but it is a friction promo and I have some 63 fast back kits for parts. Might do this one in the summer cause it should be an easy restore. 32 Ford Roadster with a flat head in 1/16th scale  I'm starting to like these 1/16th scale cars cause I can see what I'm screwing up better. |

And the last 2 came in; 63 Ford Galaxie convert  One 63 fast back kit will take care of both this and the coupe plus make a 63 light weight drag car, I'll have to get a boot from Modelhaus and I'm good to go. Been wanting one of these for a long time, 66-77 Ford Bronco  it's resin but has a chassis with the int. molded in, grille, bumpers, front seats, dash and some drive train parts. It's a curb side but I will more than likely open the hood and but a engine in it, maybe a 200 6 cyl. which was the standard eng. in them. |

I got the Bronco off e-bay the sellers name is MODELCARSMAG and they are a buy now for $50.00 plus $5.00 shipping. He is Gregg from Model Car Magazine and this is the third I've bought from him. That's where I got the 1/16th scale 32 Ford also. Very good seller. If I can I'll put a link to his store. |

Went over to my local seller and can home with these
1/20th scale 70 Mustang fastback by ARII, opened but sealed inside
and this Revell 1/12th scale 65 Mustang Fastback that is still factory sealed, been trying to get one of these for years.
Now I've got only 3 more Mustang's to get and I'll have what I want.

Now that Photo Bucket is working again. Got these for a Dio I'm getting parts for, a 50's style soda vending machine  and a 50's style Gas Pump  That's all til next week. |

These are what I got in from July 1 till Aug 15th Went to Hobby Lobby and this followed me home  from e-bay  now I need to find a Ford C-600 tractor to pull it, never ends. and from a guy selling some kits  still sealed    came with a tear drop hood and sox & martin decals  I got a couple more coming in from e-bay next week so until then Cheers. |
